Just had to share. I haven’t even finished Part 3 of your Dinnerware e-book yet and I have already recouped its cost in sales.

I sold four salad plates by Wedgwood – Etruria Garden – Ravilious. They were really pretty but I started them out at $4.99 each. They sold for $144.00 total. Can you believe it?

The buyer was in the UK and he collects these plates because of the artist – Eric Ravilious. He told me that he will buy anything Wedgwood by Eric Ravilious, except Persephone or Harvest Festival patterns as it’s common (it’s the same pattern, he says, just different names), or the modern copies by Martha Stewart – nothing against Martha, he said, but he only wants the originals!

If you ever see Wedgwood dinnerware with Ravilious on it, be sure to put his name in the title when you list it! You might just get a great sale to the UK!

Thanks for the Digital Gold Mine of information. I know you spent a lot of time and effort, and drew upon a veritable treasure trove of experience to get this out to a very impatient Queen of Auctions following.

I, for one, can enthusiastically say, “The wait was absolutely worth it!”  It is truly unbelievable how much clarity I now have as I browse the shelves and peruse the bins at the thrift stores. As the saying goes, “You don’t know what you don’t know.”  Well, I now know what I didn’t know – and I’m very glad I know it!  Thank you for your unselfish sharing of what could be considered proprietary information.  I guess this is the remarkable dynamic surrounding eBay. It is possible for many to participate in the marketplace and be successful.

Hi, I didn’t know where to send this but THANK YOU for the dinnerware eBook. The knowledge is priceless and I know the three volumes are going to make me more money than I spent on them. I can’t wait to have the big score or just a bunch of little ones. After the first volume I found a flea market that had things marked 75% off, I found almost one of every maker’s items in the book. I can’t wait to start listing them this weekend.

A second “THANK YOU” for saying to leave things in our stores for at least a month before we start purging with these new eBay changes. I have sold some things out of my store in just this short little time and had questions on stuff that I had even forgot that was there.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Whew, another week gone and what do we have to show for it?  Well, I’ve got this great email from Sharon that I’d like to share.  She’s had such great success selling dinnerware on eBay that her auctions will pay for a Queen’s Court membership!  Which I’m thrilled to hear because the more the merrier!

Hi Lynn,

Just wanted to write and thank you so much for this labor of love on your part! I’m talking about those marvelous e-books on Dinnerware. I’ve finished Part 1, almost thru Part 2, and anxiously awaiting Part 3.

I made my first foray into dinnerware by going to a small hole-in-the-wall place where a group of women were holding a fundraiser to send their daughters on a music tour. I found a set of 4 Dansk Concerto Allegro Blue plates and salad plates and a salt and pepper set, along with a set of 3 Dansk Bistro cups and saucers – all for just $9. So I bought them. Within 24 hours, all the plates had watchers! Can’t wait to see what happens by the end of the auction!

If selling dinnerware takes off like I think it will, I will be able to join your Queen’s Court in no time!

I just wanted to share my recent score with you. I had received my Dinnerware eBook a couple of weeks ago. We went to an estate sale the very end of January. I saw this beautiful set of stoneware and they were asking $220 for it. It was Noritake Blue Adobe. They usually go to 1⁄2 price on the last day if no one has purchased some of the pieces. Well, I asked about this set and they agreed to go to $110, then I bought so many other things, I asked if they would take $100 for the set. I had my fingers crossed and they said yes!

My husband was freaking out because I was spending $100 for a set of stoneware. I told him I was going to put them on E-Bay and he just said, “I hope you get your $100 back.” I DID! One sale at auction added up to $386.39. Then I also sold a teapot for $53.00 and 3 salad plates @ $14.99 each. Grand total so far is $484.36 and I still have a lot of pieces left. WOW!

I just wanted to thank you so much for all your help. This certainly paid for my eBook and way more.

Hello again!

Here’s another really fun email I got from Marie.  I’m so glad that she is finding my dinnerware ebook to be so useful and so much fun!  I am spending a lot of time writing and rewriting these chapters and when I hear how much you all get out of them, it really makes me smile.  I hope that those of you who haven’t purchased it yet are ready to stop resisting and snatch it up!  Each chapter is so full of information that I have a hard time  ending them, I could just go on and on.  Here’s what Marie had to say about it:
HOT Damn! (Please excuse my dirty mouth)!   You made my day.  Part 2.  It is like Christmas Eve morning as a kid.  Christmas morning was coming soon, but never soon enough…  I can not begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed and learned from Part 1 and Queen’s Court.  Thank you and all of the QC for helping me not feel like I am doing this alone. (I do have a very supportive and helpful husband).  He has really pushed at me to sign up for the 2010 Boot Camp.  I have dragged my feet waiting to see how the taxes were going to turn out.  I guess I have NO reason now not to put my hat in.

Since I have been transferring my store inventory to Fixed Price, I can not believe the items that are selling.  This so exciting.  It is about 70/30 for Full price vs BO.  1/4 of the sales are overseas.
